Latin Grammy award winner, James Galvez has over 25 years of experience arranging, composing, and producing music for various clients such as KVIA Chanel 7 in El Paso, Pepsi, Motorola, EMI Records, Universal Records, and Venevision International. In 2003 he signed a Non-Exclusive Producer Agreement with Sony Music after working for many years prior with his longtime friend Frankie J. From there on forward, he worked with other talented entertainers such Wilmer Valderrama, Baby Bash, AB Quintanilla Y Los Kumbia Kings, Cruz Martinez, Lucero, and Alicia Villarreal among others.

James is humbled and grateful for the blessings and opportunities by which his music career continues to provide. As he persists on striving for excellence, he is motivated by the challenge to creatively initiate and execute many more successful music projects. His passion for music is evident in his work and he hopes to inspire others with his work ethic and music production skills.

With over 25 years of experience, James Galvez Productions offers an extensive array of music styles and specializes in creating unique fusions for TV, radio, recording artist, video production, Internet broadcast, video game production, and more.

Some of the styles we specialize in include but are not limited to pop, R&B, hip hop, jazz, rock, electro dance, house, Latin, orchestral, special theme, ethnic, and world fusions. We compose our work with Nuendo and utilize a large pallet of VST plug-ins, virtual instruments, and effects. We also work with an extensive sound and sample loop library, which we continuously update, customize, and have developed for over 20 years.

When stretching our creativity, one of the things we enjoy is analyzing an existing music piece and transforming it into a different genre (creating a remix).

When working on a remix, we minimize the use of the original music recording (unless instructed otherwise) and re-construct the entire remix from the ground up. This allows us to freely incorporate our own signature sound while maintaining the musical integrity of the original music piece.

We mix our own material and music projects in-house. However, we are also equipped to mix external projects.

We mix with a powerful pallet of VST Waves plug-ins and spectrum analyzers. We also reference all of our mixes in domestic and professional acoustic environments to secure an accurate mix. Our mixing techniques ensure that all of our projects deliver the right personality; and, highest level of integrity and quality.

Mastering is the final phase during the music production process that can make or break the perspective of a great sounding recording project. It is more than just the polish or icing on the cake. With this in mind, we are sensitive and extremely detailed when going through this crucial phase. Ensuring that each track on an album or a single music piece is accurately mastered; requires skill, experience, complete focus, and dedication.

Not only do we utilize high quality plug-ins, spectrum analyzers, accurate studio monitors, and acoustically treated environments but also we trust our ears and gut instinct. We pride ourselves in successfully executing and delivering mastered broadcast-ready material.

Our experience with Digital Audio and custom sound design allows us to efficiently provide audio editing on all levels.

We utilize our skills and experience to seamlessly blend, splice, and fade one or multiple pieces of audio; and provide any combination for any custom audio need.
